Below are PSDs I used  with the client as a jumping off points for each page. They are a bit rough and were refined in the buildout phase, but the vibe is reflected. One of the fun aspects of design is solving puzzle of how to tell complex and sometimes nuanced stories visually. Many of my projects are for businesses and as such must reflect a crisp, stalwart aesthetic. But here I got to play with a very feminine aesthetic, flowery colors, round edges, etc. The task here was to evoke the story of human sexuality without portraying any literal humans, because once people are portrayed it invariably speaks to gender and sexual orientation. Putting a white, heterosexual couple on the home page would alienate all ethnic minorities and/or those of alternative sexual orientations. I came up with the idea of using different flowers- which have a sexually evocative aesthetic- to tell the story of the site. Pages longer than the frame are scrollable on hover.
