Strutsite represents the culmination of ten years building a turnkey marketing solutions agency in Seattle. In the beginning I set out to be a web and graphic designer, not anticipating how many small to midsized businesses just wouldn't understand how to utilize what deliverables I might provide them. Most clients needed more than a good designer, they needed a strategist and consultant. They also needed a vetted team of professionals who could collaborate to deliver on every aspect of their marketing needs. I put together a team of people who did great work reliably and could all collaborate with ease. We were all independent business owners, but we formed a coalition and Strutsite became our united front. They flew under the flag of my brand and in turn I became their go to web designer. Each of us was out doing business development for our respective services and then bringing all that business into the pool. In addition to my work doing UX and web design we had a photographer, content writer, logo designer/print specialist and an SEO specialist. Often people coming to someone for any one of these services were in need of some-or all- of the others. I used Strutsite (and the Strut Deck below) to coach these businesses on how to receive the best of what we all had to offer to support their success. This website was designed to target small to midsized businesses, for that reason I chose a more playful "let me explain how all this works"  kind of vibe. I wanted to give business owners who knew nothing about marketing the felt sense that we were going to hold their hand and walk them through aspects of their business that were potentially overwhelming to them.
