Custom PSD design built in WordPress CMS. Client wanted to create a brand and blog where she could facilitate cultural discourse on public use of technology. Her tagline was "Manners Matter" so we created a character called "Manny the Ostrich" (often found with his head in a hole!) as an icon she could utilize on merchandizing. (Note: All branding and character art was done by another designer, I only helped strategize the concept.) For this site I designed custom functionality that would allow users to vote on each blog post, whether the behavior in question was rude or not rude, with the averaged results of total votes displays on a graphic meter. To encourage participation and make people form their own opinions, users would have to vote before they were able to see the results of all previous votes.  Pages longer than the frame are scrollable on hover.
